THE UBER FOOD SMOOTHIE

As promised: The recipe for our incredibly popular “Uber food smoothie” served to you beautiful folk over the weekend at the little creatures brewery market.

This smoothie is the ultimate in my book. It is filling, gives you energy, is full of omega 3’s and protein, antioxidants and alkalising greens as well as that all important inside cleansing fibre.

  • 400ml Almond milk (less if you want it super thick)
  • One frozen banana
  • One handfull frozen berries
  • One handful spinach
  • Half a cheek of fresh mango
  • Half a tablespoon of acai powder
  • One teaspoon Green Nutritionals super greens
  • Half a tablespoon chia seeds
  • Two teaspoons cacao powder

If you are feeling a little drained in the morning and need a healthy nourishing version of a coffee then give this baby a go.
