I AM TAKING A GAP YEAR ✌🏻 ….. Over 10 years ago I opened this account and, like so many of us, began sharing my journey with you. You have seen Natural Harry change and grow over the years from a smoothie & dessert caravan to cooking workshops, a store, 3 books, a Lazy Bones Loaf and hundreds of recipes, even a new mini team member. Much has changed on Instagram and in real life and I find myself craving a ‘big pause’ to lean further away from the screen and deeper into my ‘real world’ for some time. . These big breaks often result in my best work, they allow me to refill the tank and shift my focus to creating rather than sharing. My time, so often filled with photography, filming, creating reels and posts and responding to DMs and comments will be spent soaking up time with Winnie, and helping Frase in his business. . If you are a part of my email family you will still receive a new delicious recipe every month. LOL, so old school, but I think it will be a beautiful experiment to shift to an ad-free, direct line. If you are not part of my email family, sign up now through the link in my bio. . My website will direct you to multiple online and physical stores where you can still purchase all three of my recipe books. . Who knows what will come of this time fully immersed in living and less so in projecting and sharing. I am excited, and, to be completely realistic, I don’t think you will majorly notice my absence while I am gone from here. There will be plenty of goodness direct to you over email, or perhaps you will also enjoy an extended break? . I am so fascinated by what forward motion does for creativity and mental clarity. Swimming, solo runs or walks in silence or a long bike ride. Does anyone know if that has been studied? . . . Every time I hop in the drink I never know what ideas might come and what thoughts I will sort ( or retrieve ). More so in a pool or the river. In the open ocean I tend to be a bit more hyper vigilant 😆 . . Does anyone else find this with swimming/walking/riding/running? 📸 @nikoleramsay for WHOLE

| ITS COOKIE TIME | 🍪 Possibly the most well loved, heavily tested and often eaten recipe I have not yet shared with you. A few of my nearest and dearest have had this recipe for a few months now and BOY have they made loads of them! They are that good and that easy. . . Honestly I’m totally obsessed with how easy these are. They are quick, the ingredients are SO minimal and whole. Just all round winners and 15 mins from woe to go! . . . Mexican flavours are perfection. Hands up if you agree? For a little share dinner this eve I made one of my favourite go-to easy options with a few extra frills because…. I love my friends and my toddler napped in her cot today 🥰 || The mexi chilli bowl in my new @ochreceramics ||🍲 this could well be my personal most used recipe from WHOLE. It is so great to make a big batch and freeze/ meal prep for later, you can have it as a base for burritos, tacos, nachos… any of the ‘os’ really. Today I added some charred corn I sprinkled with smoked paprika, cashew Parmesan and some coriander and I went to town on the lime juice in the quick simple salsa. I also threw in some cheesy tahini sauce because it’s epic on everything ( also in WHOLE ) NOT PICTURED: 2 trays of blackened sweet potato chips which would have been a delicious addition had I not totally forgotten they were cooking 🫠 I haven’t been to Mexico but I imagine the food is AH-MAZING! . . . . #naturalharry #wholebynaturalharry #freshflavours #simplefood #plantbased #wholefood

#homebynaturalharry is chockas with simple DIY cleaning & body product recipes but did you know it also includes some epic easy edible recipes too? Over the years I have honed a few of those handy staples to have on hand like milk, loaf, sauerkraut, yogurt, granola and crackers! Basically a few of those things it’s near impossible to purchase out of plastic single use packaging! Now, just to be clear, I am NOT perfect just because I develop recipes and use them a lot does not mean I do not purchase the convenient versions of a few of these items from time to time. Personally I’d much rather do my best most of the time rather than wait until I feel the time is right and everything is ‘perfect’ to begin giving these things a crack! HOME is what I wished I had prior to the decade long journey of trial and error to get all these recipes down pat. The biggest hurdle? Making the first batch of ANYTHING! But, you can do it and these crackers are so easy. I actually had a bit of ( very messy ) fun rolling out the last batch with Winnie. So that part can double as sensory play right? 😂 goes without saying her little crackers were even more randomly shaped and partially eaten before cooking than mine where 😂 . . Anyway, you can get this recipe and many more in HOME from any good book store, wholefood store, health food store, bulk wholefood store, boutique, cafe store and online including for a limited time via my website, signed with a Natural Harry bag. . .
